K-Dense × Accel × Google AI
Dear Biostate AI investors, followers, and collaborators,
We have some exciting news to share. K-Dense Inc., the AI Co-Scientist platform that grew out of Biostate’s internal data infrastructure, has been selected for the Accel Atoms AI Cohort 2026, backed by Google’s AI Futures Fund. Only 5 startups were chosen from over 4,000 applicants.
L to R: Jonathan (Google), Arthur (Google), David (Biostate), Prayank (Accel), and David (Google)
K-Dense was originally built to solve a problem we faced at Biostate: processing hundreds of terabytes of sequencing data at a scale no single AI tool could handle. Over time, it evolved into something much broader. Today K-Dense helps researchers in life sciences, physics, and chemistry move faster by running complex workflows from start to finish.
Being backed by Google’s AI Futures Fund alongside this cohort is a meaningful milestone. It reflects a growing recognition that the next frontier in AI is not just answering questions, but conducting real scientific research autonomously. You can read more in TechCrunch.
We are proud of how far K-Dense has come, and grateful to everyone in this community who has followed and supported the journey.
